The DMAi Internal Connect Award will celebrate innovative thinking and best practices that create real value for the organization through Internal communication. The IC awards are the first of its kind to recognise those who truly reflect what smarter internal communication and commitment to achieve groundbreaking business results is all about.
It rewards the most innovative use of social media, intranet, e-mailers and is a reiteration of the fact that Internal Communication plays a vital role in the overall communications space of highly effective organiations.

Internal communication is an empowering function which when done well, drives powerful business results & gives companies a competitive edge. It is the bridge that connects with employees, to help them find more meaning and purpose in their work, making extraordinary things possible.
It provides a platform to share best practices and showcase usage of internal communication campaigns whether it is for R&R programs, training mailers, engagement programs or just informative campaigns.

It is a great opportunity to receive recognition for your professional achievements, enabling you
to showcase your team and their work. The Awards’ evening is the perfect way to thank your
colleagues and celebrate with them meaningfully.

& Criteria

IC awards are open to in-house, agency and independent communication practitioners in the private, corporate, non-profit and government sectors.

The Duration of the Campaign shall be between: Oct 15 to Mar 17.

All nominations will be evaluated comprehensively on the basis of the following factors:
•Strategic approach •Creativity •Innovation •Implementation •Efficiency

Entry Submission Guidlines

The nominations can be submitted online only by setting up the account on the provided link as here.

The entrant is allowed to submit multiple entries.

The best-suited categories can be decided from the list of the drop down appear or refer to the website?

All entries will be pre-screened to ensure that the entries have correctly met the entry guidelines.

Please ensure that you have the following items to upload to your entry:
· Any supporting material (optional) - images, press clippings, etc., should be uploaded in PDF format and no longer than 4 pages. Judges need your entry to be as succinct as possible and will not read more than 4 slides.
· One campaign image.
· One company logo.
· Images must be in JPEG, GIF or PNG format, and suitable for publication. They will be used at the Awards ceremony if you are shortlisted and may be used as marketing collateral.
· Entries into the IC Award are report based and entrants are asked to write a report, basis the following headers
· Synopsis: (Up to 200 words): Explain the purpose and scope of your entry. Summarise briefly the origin, goals and impact of your campaign
· Background: An introduction to the brand and its market Information on the size and dynamics of the brand, competitive landscape (if any)
· Campaign objective (Up to 350 words): Specific marketing objective & business objective of the brand
· Insight and strategic thinking: Idea behind the communication/marketing strategy. Define your target audience. Provide any information or research that defines the target audience behaviour and attitude that guided your strategic thinking.
· Implementation and creative development: Explain strategy turning into creative work. Describe the media and different channels of communication used for creative implementation. Define budgets if any.
· Impact / Results: Substantiate the effectiveness of the campaign strategy. Social effects can be substantiated by engagement levels defined online via likes, retweets etc., overall employee engagement, attitude or behaviour change


& Rules

Judging will be carried out online by a judging panel made up of senior level representatives such as mentors, gurus and C- Suite from agencies/corporates and as well as from diverse industries. The panel will decide the winner from each category/sub category.
*Judges to remain abstain from voting or any work in which they or their companies have been involved, either directly or indirectly.
The decision of the jury in all matters relating to the awarding of prizes will be final and binding.

Rules & Regulations
Entries must be for work conducted between July 31, 2015 and June 2017, unless otherwise specified. (Some of the work must have occurred during this time, but it does not necessarily need to have been started or completed during the eligibility period.)
Entries are considered pending until all mandatory information requested in the form has been submitted fully. All the information furnished by an entrant must be true and correct.
The DMAi Secretariat reserves the right to reassign entry categories for submissions that are deemed incorrectly entered.
The info of the winners will not be disclosed to any third party prior to 23rd August.
Winners will be notified by email using the information provided on the entry form.
The Awards Management reserves the right to withdraw or amend the terms of the Awards at any time.
